Super Speed Neo (Prototype)

I was working on a 3D driving game about going really fast with my friend Toby (we last worked together on Spirit Shift) but unfortunately we were both too busy to continue, so we decided to put it up as is. It's far enough along that it's kinda fun and you can see where we were going with it. We made it in Unity with me handling code and Toby handling art.

One of the reasons we started this project was to try out new things. For me, I've done lots of 2D gameplay and 3D graphics but hadn't properly tried coding 3D gameplay yet. I also had a go at some very rudimentary AI for the traffic - they'll avoid collisions and perform overtake maneuvers (slow down, indicate, change lanes, speed back up).

I really love the art style Toby went for and we had some really nice features planned so it's a shame we couldn't continue. Who knows, maybe we'll come back and finish it at some point.
